Apartment Savers is an independent research website operated by founder Justin. This policy applies to apartmentsavers.org. Privacy questions: apartmentsavers@businessoptimizer.org.
Information you provide
Browse without an account. The public site does not accept rental applications, screen applicants or collect referral leads. If you email us, we receive your email address, message and information you choose to share. Do not send Social Security numbers, identification documents, financial records or another person’s sensitive information.
Saved homes and browser storage
Saved-home IDs stay in browser localStorage under apartment-savers-favorites. Your analytics choice uses apartment-savers-analytics; your motion preference uses apartment-savers-motion. Saved homes are not submitted to an Apartment Savers database. Clear browser storage or use the controls below to remove them. Optional scripts you allow may collect page activity as described below.
Optional Statcounter analytics
Statcounter loads only after you allow optional analytics in this browser. It may process visit time, IP address, approximate location from IP, browser/device and operating system information, referring page, page URL/title and interactions. Depending on enabled Statcounter features, this may include session activity. It helps us understand use and improve the site. Statcounter may use cookies to recognize returning visits.
Read Statcounter’s publisher information, privacy policy and cookie information. Its refusal-cookie option concerns Statcounter cookies; our analytics-off control blocks our Statcounter script.

Optional analytics are off unless you have chosen to allow them.
Browser signals
Global Privacy Control and a Do Not Track value of 1 keep optional analytics off. Choices apply to this browser/device and must be set again if storage is cleared. Choosing off cannot undo prior collection; changing from on to off reloads the page to stop further activity.
Hosting, fonts and links
Hosting and security providers process technical request information, including IP/browser information, to deliver and protect the site. Google Fonts receives requests needed to serve fonts; see Google Fonts privacy information. Community websites, maps, source pages and other linked services have their own privacy practices.
Use, sharing and retention
We use correspondence to respond, review corrections and keep records; technical data to operate and secure the site; and optional analytics to improve it. Providers process information for these purposes. Information may also be disclosed when legally required, to protect rights/safety, or in a business transfer subject to law. We do not sell contact lists or use correspondence for targeted advertising.
We keep correspondence as reasonably needed to respond, resolve issues, maintain necessary records or meet legal obligations. Analytics retention depends on our Statcounter configuration and provider policies. Browser storage remains until you clear or change it.
Your requests
Request access, correction or deletion of information you sent by contacting apartmentsavers@businessoptimizer.org. We review requests under applicable law and may need to verify them. Some records may need to be retained. This policy does not limit rights provided by law.
Children and security
This general adult-audience site is not directed to children under 13; we do not knowingly seek their information. Contact us if you believe a child provided it. No website or email system guarantees perfect security. Share only what your request needs.
Changes
We post revisions here and update the date above. Material changes to new collection or uses will be described before taking effect where required.
